It is so close to the end, I can nearly taste it. Perhaps that is because so many people around me are done. Not exactly shoving their done-ness in my face, but at least having more fun than I am. Monday night at 11 I had a revelation and decided to do an art project instead of a paper for my sociology class. I now think it would have been easier to painfully sit at the computer for a few hours going through notes and reading, rather than scrunched up on my floor, cutting, gluing, moving, and hair-drying stuff. Don't ask. Now all I have is my econ exam. I have been doing well this semester, so I don't want to blow it. It's just hard because I have so little energy right now. This is the last task of my undergraduate career at Smith. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can

Anya keeps bothering me and telling me to get a Livejournal. I just can't get myself to do it. I feel like it will become a friendster-esque obsession, involving me trying to get lots of "friends", finding strange people from my past, and spending too much time reading about the lives of random people I don't really talk to. Spending time on the Dean campaign website and looking at links to links I have come to appreciate the idea of blogging. So here you go. Perhaps it is because I have spent too much time in my room tonight or because I have listened to the same Rufus Wainwright song about 20 times now, but I think this could be a good idea. As I have more adventures in the future, I will not have to email people about my goings on. They can just elect to look into it themselves. Anyone can see it. This means I may have to be selective about what I write (ie, not talking about adventures in Springfield with Anya and Miriam and our new friend Mike). Not everyone needs to know that.
But now I should be working on more film festival letters, and going to sleep. We shall see how this all works out...feel free to comment.
